Old Roses
In this section are many of the old favourites going back as far as mediaeval times. They predominantly produce one big flush of flower with rich scent. These are the roses that you see in Old Master’s paintings
Alba
Albas are the ancestors of many of our pale coloured roses. They have distinctive blue-green foliage, will grow in partial shade, the flowers are in soft hues from white to mid-pink.
