Bourbon, Hybrid Perpetual, China, Polyantha and Floribunda

The roses in these groups predominantly repeat flower, with a great variety of size, shape and colour. The size of the bush varies as well.

Bourbon

Bourbon roses display much of the character of the very old roses, but are longer flowering; many have a rich scent.

Hybrid Perpetual

Hybrid Perpetual roses are somewhere between an old-fashioned rose and a modern bush. They are long flowering and usually fragrant.

China

China roses have a long flowering season. They are in translucent colours, some are dainty little bushes.

Polyantha

Polyantha roses are the fore-runners of the Modern Floribunda. They bear clusters of small flowers from mid-summer until the frosts.
